Components are introduced before the characters and words that depend on them. Meaning components, phonetic clues, tone contrasts, and compound structure turn unfamiliar Hanzi into patterns that can be reasoned about rather than isolated shapes to memorize.

Recent answers matter more than old ones. HanFlow varies recognition, recall, listening, pronunciation, handwriting, and contextual activities while returning difficult material sooner and keeping established vocabulary in long-term review.

Move between your devices

Optional Google account synchronization stores learning progress in HanFlow's private Google Drive application-data folder. HanFlow cannot read ordinary Drive files.

HanFlow requests Google access only after you choose to connect synchronization. Learning remains available offline without an account.
